Manager Carlo Ancelotti has stated that Real Madrid players Vinicius Jr. and Eduardo Camavinga are likely to return to training after LaLiga's winter break ends in January.
Forward Vinicius suffered an injury to his hamstring and tendon last month, while midfielder Camavinga didn’t feature in Real's last three league games due to a torn ligament in his right knee.
"Vinicius and Camavinga will have to wait until 2024, but I think they will be ready to train with us by the end of the break," Ancelotti told reporters ahead of Saturday's game at Real Betis.
The Italian also provided an injury update on midfielder Jude Bellingham, who has been playing with a shoulder injury.
"His shoulder is a problem that he has to take care of, doing specific work. It is not a big enough problem, so he can still play, and we think the issue will improve with each passing day," Ancelotti said.
"The shoulder is a very particular joint, and there is a chance it could pop out with continuous problems. He would then need surgery if that happens, but for now we can rule that out."
Ancelotti also delivered a witty response when questioned about the prospect of accepting a €500m (£429m) offer to coach in Saudi Arabia.
"On foot. On foot. I'm walking, I don’t need to take a flight," joked Ancelotti. "I'm joking, everyone makes their choices."
He proceeded to deny that he had spoken to officials from any Saudi clubs.
"No, they have not called me and I live in the present. The present is very good," he added.
"I have another idea that is not that right now. I have never looked at money, because I grew up in a family in which money was not important. And the truth is that I have money.
"For me, the important thing is to feel good, it could be that one day I will feel good in Saudi Arabia, but for now, I feel good here."
